The sales ranking of new brands in the Chinese market for the first week of June (June 2-June 8) has been announced. The highlights of this week are that Leapmotor won the championship, Wenjie ranked second; Ideal Auto dropped to third, hitting a new low in the weekly ranking; Fangchengbao made a significant advance to fourth place; Xiaomi ranked fifth.
1. The first echelon, with sales exceeding 8,000 units, Leapmotor won the championship
No. 1 Leapmotor sold 8,800 units this week, a 4.7% increase from last week. This is the sales champion position of Leapmotor in the second week of this year, and it ranked “third to fifth” in other weeks. As a new car-making force with accumulated strength, Leapmotor has high cost performance as its main selling point, high configuration and low price, and has developed similar models close to Ideal.
No. 2 Wenjie Auto sold 8,800 units this week, a 13.8% decrease from last week. Wenjie has performed well recently, mainly driven by the new car Wenjie M8, with weekly sales of 4,300 units per model, close to half of the sales of the entire series. It can be said that consumers’ expectations for the Q-Jie can be fully converted into sales. As long as the new Q-Jie models are launched quickly enough, sales will not be a problem.
No. 3 is Ideal Auto, which sold 8,300 vehicles this week, down 30.9% from last week, ranking third for the first time, a record low. In the first 23 weeks of this year, Ideal Auto ranked first for 15 weeks, second for 7 weeks, and third for 1 week. Ideal Auto’s position in the industry is very special. It can be said that it has opened up a new track and has developed the originally unpopular extended-range model into a benchmark for the entire industry. Later, the main models of brands such as Q-Jie, Leapmotor, and Changan were also extended-range models.
2. Three models in the second echelon, with sales of 4,000 to 5,000 vehicles, Fangchengbao ranked fourth and Xiaomi ranked fifth
No. 4 is Fangchengbao Automobile, which sold 4,500 vehicles this week, up 25% from last week. The growth of Fangchengbao Automobile’s ranking is mainly driven by the sales of Titanium 3. With the further increase in market inventory, Fangchengbao’s ranking in the later period is likely to be further improved.
No. 5 Xiaomi Motors sold 4,400 vehicles this week, down 43.6% from last week. Xiaomi Motors can beat four or five models of its competitors with just one SU7, thanks to Lei Jun’s appeal and the high viscosity of Xiaomi fans. Xiaomi YU7 will be launched later, and overall sales will increase.
No. 6 Xiaopeng Motors sold 4,200 vehicles this week, down 42.5% from last week. In the first 23 weeks of this year, Xiaopeng Motors ranked first for 6 weeks, second for 6 weeks, third for 3 weeks, fourth for 3 weeks, fifth for 4 weeks, and sixth for 1 week. After Wang Fengying took over, Xiaopeng Motors’ overall sales increased significantly.
3. 4 models in the third echelon, with sales of less than 4,000 vehicles, and NIO ranked 9th
No. 7 Deep Blue Motors sold 3,900 vehicles this week, down 26.5% from last week. Deep Blue Motors’ performance is relatively good among central enterprises.
No. 8 Zeekr Motors sold 3,200 vehicles this week, down 22% from last week. Zeekr is a brand under Geely Auto, with a relatively young positioning.
NIO ranked 9th, with sales of 2,600 vehicles this week, down 13.3% from last week. NIO is no longer the representative of the new forces of “NIO, Xiaoli, and Li Auto” in car manufacturing, and has been surpassed by new energy vehicles of a number of traditional car companies.
DENZA ranked 10th, with sales of 2,300 vehicles this week, down 23.2% from last week.
In the first week of June, the sales ranking of new forces, Lengpao Automobile won the championship, and Ideal ranked only 3rd.
